The Rev. Todd Kornahrens

The Rev. Todd Kornahrens joined The Village Church as Senior Pastor in January 2026, bringing with him more than two decades of pastoral ministry, a deep love for the local church, and a heart for helping people grow in faith at every stage of life.

Todd’s calling to ministry has taken shape across a wide range of church contexts—serving as Senior Pastor, Associate Pastor, Campus Pastor, Next-Generation Pastor, and Church Planter. Since beginning his ordained ministry in 2003, he has served congregations in South Carolina, Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Florida, gaining a broad and compassionate understanding of the diverse journeys people bring with them into the life of the church.

Originally from Charleston, South Carolina, Todd earned a Bachelor of Arts in History from the College of Charleston and a Master of Divinity, completing seminary, ordination, marriage, and his first pastoral call all in the same formative year. Those early years shaped his enduring belief that the church should be both deeply rooted in faith and genuinely accessible to everyday people.

In 2013, Todd and his family relocated to Northeast Florida, where his ministry increasingly focused on children, families, and next-generation discipleship. He has led and partnered in community-centered initiatives such as Upward Sports, Awana, Good News Clubs, and WinShape Camp for Communities, and has developed parenting resources and classes designed to equip families to live out their faith beyond Sunday mornings.

At his core, Todd is a pastor who loves people—someone who believes the church should feel like a place where you are known, welcomed, and encouraged to take your next step with God, no matter where you are starting from. His leadership reflects a passion for biblical teaching, meaningful relationships, and a church culture that values authenticity, grace, and hope.

Todd and his wife are grateful to call St. Augustine and the surrounding community home, and he is honored to serve alongside the people of The Village Church as together they seek to love God, love others, and live out their faith in tangible ways.
